Quality Assurance statement We have an effective system for Quality Assurance based on the outcomes for Residents, in which standards and indicators to be achieved are clearly defined and monitored on a continuous basis by carer and their line managers.
Carers are selected for their experience, ability and competence. They must successfully complete a personal interview, provide details of two satisfactory referees and are subject to satisfactory DBS clearance. Staff must attend and satisfactorily complete the company induction programme and be willing to attend ongoing training and be willing to work to recognised qualifications.
The Quality of the service is monitored in accordance with our quality audit plan which includes checks, supervision and residents and staff meetings, audits surveys, staff and service user forums.
All staff and carers undergo shadowing to ensure that they undertake tasks competently and have an understanding of the Company’s philosophy of care.
All records are kept securely in locked filing cabinets within the company and information is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
All Resident are assessed for their individual needs and health and safety risk assessments are conducted and reviewed and updated on a regular basis by trained personnel.
Detailed care plans are prepared in consultation with the client and/or their carer or advocate. A copy of this care plan and a report system are kept in the client’s personal files.
